This was quite possibly the best little open world game for the iPad/iPhone, it was free to play, the heart system in this game worked very well, the gameplay was very smooth, coins were fun to get even. its hard to get gems regardless so its dumb you have to spend 10 gems to try again one time when it costs that much to upgrade your dragon in the beginning, but now to pretty much have to pay if you want to continue to play. Each level to.. Thats pretty greedy guys. You need to make this right.

Was fun. Now 250,000 coins and 250 gems to unlock next level we have been waiting for. Edit- raised to 3 star for the gem cost going down to 100 now. Was a 5 star game before this.

I remember when it use to be free to play not anymore

Ive been playing this game for a while; before all you had to do to unlock the next episode was to complete the one before that, but now you have to pay gems?! When the game updates, I was on 7, and I discovered they wanted 250 gems for the new episode to be unlocked! I would understand maybe 100 or something, but this is ridiculous. Please change this. Other than that, great game.

My son loves this game but every time I trysts buy gems it says already purchased and freezes. I contacted customer service but received no response. Also I think its terrible they make you pay to get to the next level. Im probably just going to delete this game. Such a shame.

Please make it so you can purchase boosts with coins instead of gems. Why offer coins if we cant use them for anything?

YouTube makes it popular and they start massive inflated pricing....wow I mean this is straight greed and shady behavior going on ....Im finished, even if an update changed no way Ill support developers with that sort of integrity and greed! There is a way to do F2P/IAP right and this just made a mockery of the whole process ....honestly this is what not to do...or a lesson on how to alienate your players.... Im all for supporting developers and games. But situations like this treat us like we are idiots .....so Im out .... (Pre-update / greediness) This was a lovely game, reminds me of a Spyro-Mario hybrid... I was really surprised how polished this is for the amount of content....there are campains, daily quests/runs, multiplayer and more .... Such a fun game! I finished the last level last night and replayed a few levels that Id missed gems in....now Im waiting .... I hope this will be updated soon, with more levels ...while there are things to do...I like the actual levels/campaigns the best.....hope to see more

It was really fun until it opened level 8! $250,000 coins and 100 gems! It takes 3 days to get 20 to evolve dragon! Fix and I will give 5 stars!

Can you go back to where you just UNLOCK the next by completing the one before it. Plz

This morning my App Store told me that Dragon Land was updating, Ive had it for a while so I was excited to see what they added. But after I opened the app and went to campaign, selected a level there was a huge lag that prevented me from moving sometimes and made me move slower. Which upsets me now because the game use to be fun no Im stuck with a lag. So I lost a life and then looked at my lives, one hour until another full life!!? I hate it when game creators do this, they take away a life whenever you play a level, lose it even if you dont die, then wait an hour to hours to get it back again. When I lose all my lives, now of courtesy of lag, it makes me never open, or come back to this game again. You have also added one extra hour to the free gift, which isnt really a big deal but I think people should enjoy their free gifts, not waiting around for, 3 hours to get it. Im seriously considering to just delete this game and never come back to it, until you fix the lag AND help with the extra time it takes to get a whole set of freaking lives. Thats my $0.02. Im rewriting part of this review because I found something even more infuriating then the lag AND lives. So much for a "free game" youve created, this thing is a money pit! Now all episodes require gold and gems, which to have a lot of gems at that point in the game is quite differcult, has left me stuck doing nothing for WEEKS trying to open episode 7, (yeah whatever I havent got to episode 8 yet). If you do not fix the extra time for lives to regenerate, the free gift, AND undo the cost it takes to get campaign, you will lose another player, and guess what, thats less money for you.

You can no longer unlock new levels unless you either grind for an entire year, or pay real money. Slap in the face.

Dont bother anymore. As others have said the new update severely gates content. Also the ads you can watch glitch and freeze the game requiring a system restart. The last time it glitches I was missing 100 gems Id farmed for days. Im deleting as soon as I post this.

I loved this game when I first started playing it but quickly completed the available campaign levels. Waited months for a new update only thing discover it took a crazy amount of gems to unlock it. What? Blatant greedy attempt by the game makers to get money from customers. I now regret all the time I already put in this game because I will not be continuing with it.

Please just remove the required gems so that there will be no other complaints against this game.Come on,it takes a lifetime just to get those required gems!! Please bring back the original one

Like everyone else is stating the "charge" for new levels is ridiculous. Ive never had more than 20-30 gems at a time. I have the coins, but really 100 gems to move on? Like someone else mentioned its a slap in the face. You will lose lots of users. And I see that you guys fixed the bug that would let you start level 8 after playing a quest. So you guys see our complaints/reviews yet choose to fix the bug but not the major issue. Very disappointed.

This game is horrid. While fun in the beginning, it will only make you feel bitter and angry in the end. Today, the increased level requirements in level 8. Although I have finished the entire level, I can no longer play it because my dragons somehow dont have enough energy.

Yes, you fixed the multiplayer. But heres the bottom line: I was saving gems for the most expensive dragon and I was at 300. After the update, I saw there was a new campaign level. I clicked it, without knowing, thinking it cost a few coins or maybe I could unlock it by finishing previous levels or at least preview it. But suddenly I saw that my hard earned, 250 gems were GONE! WHY in the world does a CAMPAIGN LEVEL cost 15 real life dollars? And seriously, graphics on the dragons HAVE to be better also! I know that you guys put hard work Into the game, but its just become another clear money grab. Loved the game up till now. Unless you win 1st place every week in multiplayer, theres no way you will advance. Although I do have one suggestion...once everything is fixed multiplayer adventure/campaign-like maps would be super cool and I would rate higher I demand my gems back and an update fix, otherwise you lost another player
