Reminiscent of 90s 3D Platformers
I got this game after some of the more controversial changes, but so far I think its pretty fun! Really reminds me of some of the games from my childhood, from the environments to the gameplay to the music.
While this game does have the free-to-start staples of a paid currency barring progress and timers making you wait to level, the distribution seems fair and attainable. Quick Play is unlocked very early and provides the best way to grind up coins and gems to increase your dragons level and to unlock new content.
Quick Play also stands alone as a fun arcade-style mode where you try to beat the high score of yourself and others.
The main campaign is very fun! I love trying to track down every last collectible. The timers have also been removed, allowing one to explore to their hearts content without too much pressure to move on.
Only four stars because of the inevitable progress-halting devices as well as the fact that the game is clearly unfinished and buggy at times. Going out of bounds is fun, but isnt something you hope to see in a polished game.
Still, very fun, very cute. Would recommend to any 3D Platformer fan looking for something new.
